Membership

Phi Alpha Theta bestows lifetime membership to all students who join the honor society. There are no annual dues; however, we encourage our members to subscribe to The Historian, which is published electronically, to remain in active status.

Benefits of Membership

As a Phi Alpha Theta member, you can apply for the honor society’s awards and scholarships offered each year. Phi Alpha Theta awards scholarships and other prizes on the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. All student members can present a paper at our Biennial Convention and at the Phi Alpha Theta Regional Meeting in their area. For a detailed listing of our extensive awards program, visit our website's Prizes and Awards section.
